I'm a Nottingham based artist originally from Merseyside. I studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University, experimenting across various mediums, mainly painting. I specialise in photo-realistic painting, using acrylic on canvas. Moss builds layers of acrylic and acrylic washes and uses a range of brushstrokes to recreate everyday colours and textures as realistically as I can. I pride myself in the minute details I include in my work, and I take my reference images myself, making my work as authentic as possible. Whilst living in Nottingham I've been inspired by my experiences as a fan of Nottingham Forest Football Club, and the time I spend at their home ground, The City Ground. A lifelong follower of the team, I see the West Bridgford stadium as a home away from home and I use my practice to show the sense of community I feel when there. My practice enables me to relive and celebrate the recent successes of the club.
