Hello there! My name’s Abi. During the summer between my second and third year at university, I had the opportunity to intern as a Junior UX Designer at a Fintech company, and I enjoyed it so much that I continued working with them throughout my third year. As a UX Designer, I thrive on working collaboratively to tackle problems, keen to learn from my peers. In my final year at university, I took a deeper dive into the world of UX design by researching and writing my dissertation on the current state of accessibility in the industry. This experience heightened my awareness of common issues in this field, and I frequently incorporate this knowledge into my work. One of my favourite projects this year was working with Barclays, in which I was tasked with developing a digital solution to address the unique banking needs of neurodivergent individuals.
