Hi. I’m Ellie! I have a very hands-on approach to graphic design and love bringing ideas to life through experimentation and prototyping. This fits with my passion for visual merchandising and interior spaces. I found this specialist type of design while competing for WorldSkillsUK in visual merchandising. I love being able to work both physically and digitally to create ideas that catch the eye, and where every time you look you find something new. I pay attention to small details and have a meaningful concept behind everything I do. I have also covered a range of other disciplines during my final year, from branding to packaging, and editorial. I was Head of Design for the University’s Student Union magazine in third year which gave me the chance to focus on the fine details of colour, type and layouts which are such important fundamentals in the world of graphic design. I look forward to my next steps in this industry and hope to carry on challenging concepts with my creativity.
