I am studying on the MA in Textile Design Innovation. I have an experience of working as a product and textile designer. Sustainability and repurposing have been an integral part of my work ethos. 'Dhaage-Threads of Memories', is an exploration into how textile surfaces can be designed to evoke a sense of home and comfort. I think of my Great-Grandma’s home, all these architectural details, the calmness that these homes provided amidst the chaos and the hustle on the streets, that warmth and comfort that I felt, the earthy colours, the intricate wood and stone work and these are the elements that truly inspire me.
