I am a textile designer driven by working sustainably through my consideration of print techniques and yarn selection for knitted fabrics. My knowledge of trend forecasting continues to influence my designs across fashion and interiors where colour is the forefront focus within my work whilst also considering innovative eco-friendly design. I communicate a creative art and design aesthetic through my application of combining digital skills with knitted textiles that reflects my passion for drawing and mark-making. This collection is personal to my journey of getting to where I am today revealing how colour can stimulate a memory of a place along with how those memories may influence an emotion. Each look and sample resemble a different memory of certain areas of which I have lived in as well as my colours of hand dyed yarns mirroring specific elements taken from each place.
