Hi, I'm Zayne. As a motion designer, my practice has evolved from photography, graphic design and a background in music. These disciplines translate into exploring sound and creating immersive, interactive experiences. Data in Motion raises awareness of sound sensitivity in urban environments, encouraging people to pause in fast-paced modern life. For Nottingham Light Night, Patterns of Identity enabled participants to create patterns through movement, reflecting identity, culture and connection in a non-judgemental space. Alongside my course, doing a summer scholarship in Canada broadened my perspective on intercultural communication and working collaboratively. These experiences have influenced my future direction, especially in how social, cultural and political contexts inform my work. After graduating, I want to continue developing my practice through postgraduate study, exploring how I can support mental health and wellbeing.
