I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student exploring transformation, texture, and material storytelling through my work. My recent project, Dragon Fly Fashion Project, was developed for festival wear and is inspired by the dragonfly as a symbol of change and adaptability. I translate this concept through colour, transparency, and textile innovation, reflecting the iridescent tones and delicate structures of dragonfly wings within my fabrics and garments. I have developed textiles using Shima Seiki machine knitting, working with monofilament yarns and jacquard techniques to create layered, semi-transparent surfaces that capture light, movement, and depth. Alongside this, my work for The Last Garment on Earth explores narrative and heritage through archival research, reimagining historical references into contemporary silhouettes.
