I am a final-year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student specialising in high-end fashion across menswear and womenswear, creating work that is both visually striking and conceptually driven. Fascinated by the fact that the human body is 93% star dust, my final project, which is titled From the Stars, explores the relationship between humanity and space. Drawing on visual parallels such as galaxies and fingerprints, alongside size comparisons between Earth and vast space, I investigate scale, beauty and interconnectedness through silhouette and detail. I have enjoyed learning from students across costume, photography and art, and with experience within the luxury industry in Paris, I incorporate couture techniques; hand embellishment and structural experimentation, to showcase the breathtaking sights of the cosmos. Sustainability underpins my design approach- reworking fabric and plastic waste into decoration to visually communicate that we are all 'From the Stars.'
