Kiu Ming Chiang

I am a final year BA(Hons) Fashion Design student. My practice explores the relationship between identity and culture, with a focus on combining Eastern and Western fashion elements to create designs that reflect diverse perspectives. I am particularly interested in how clothing can express individuality while also connecting to cultural heritage. In my recent work, I have developed projects that blend traditional elements with contemporary fashion, experimenting with silhouettes, textiles, to create pieces that feel modern but keeping the traditional elements. Through this process, I have been refining my own design identity and exploring how fashion can be connected both the past and the present. After completing this course, I hope to continue developing my own fashion design style and eventually establish my own brand. I aim to design clothing that suits a wide range of people, allowing everyone the opportunity to find their perfect outfit and express themselves with confidence.
