I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Design student. My passion is in construction, pattern cutting and hands-on making. For my project Animal Instincts this led me to work with leather, developing a sculptural body-armour to protect women. The process of working with leather gave me a new approach to pattern cutting, encouraging creative problem solving. As well as technical making I have also gained strong design and CAD skills which awarded me first runner up in the Paul Smith x NTU design competition. After graduating I am interested in pursuing a career working in an atelier or as a garment technologist or product developer.
