Euan Heaney

Third year Fashion Design student, with the 15 months spent working as a menswear design intern at Barbour, which has has helped shape my creative and technical process. That experience has given me real insight into the industry from research and concept development to garment construction, technical packs, fabrication choices, fit, and understanding how strong design has to work both visually and practically. Menswear and outerwear are big interests for me. I’m especially drawn to the technical modular styles, how it performs, how it can adapt, and how good design can solve problems as well as tell a story. I’m also very interested in the future use of AI and digital innovation within fashion, and I use CLO 3D as part of my pattern cutting and design development process. My design approach centres around creating modular, interchangeable pieces that merge ready to wear function with the edge and storytelling .
