Casper Gerard Pearson

My name is Casper Pearson (they/he), and I am based in Nottingham. I’m a final year BA(Hons) Costume Design and Construction student who specialises in making. My practice centres around striking, complex and finely detailed costumes using a vast mix of textiles and techniques. I’ve held a lifelong passion for costume making and as a result have experience in knit, hand embroidery, beadwork, and textile manipulation, complex garment construction and many others. In addition, I have recently expanded my skills into leatherwork and prop making. Completing my degree has really allowed me to expand my skillset and hone my abilities, helping me create high quality, professionally finished garments. After graduation I hope to be a professional costume maker for film, television, music video and live music performance.
