Anna Kelly

My time studying at NTU has allowed me to explore a variety of creative practices from millinery to tailoring and develop a wide range of knowledge and skills. I enjoy in depth research to understand historical garments and challenging myself with an assortment of construction projects. My specialisms lie in making where I love fabric dyeing, millinery, and figuring out technical garments. I made 17th Century Dutch menswear for a previous project where I practiced a range of new skills, historical techniques and detailed garment research. I have always loved Film and TV and how fundamental costume is to create the story and the characters, so I want to enter the industry as a Costume Trainee, gaining experience and understanding about all the jobs the industry has to offer. I am London based and am excited to find costume opportunities after graduating!
