My name is Theane and I am a costume designer and maker, with a strong interest in making especially for film and television. Growing up surrounded by the world of performance - thanks to my mum, a dance teacher - I developed a deep appreciation for theatre and storytelling through costume. I am particularly inspired by historical fashion and love exploring the details and craftsmanship that brings different eras to life. My background combines both a creative flair and technical skill (areas such as embroidery, tailoring and workshop skills), aliasing me to design and construct garments that support character development and enhance visual narratives. I’ve gained hands-on experience working on Guys and Dolls in the West End, as well as a short film project, which helped me understand the collaborative and fast-paced nature of costume departments I’m excited to continue growing in this industry, bringing authenticity, creativity and dedication to every project I’m part of.
