I am a final year BA(Hons) Costume Design and Construction student graduating from Nottingham Trent University. Over the course of my three years here I have learnt and developed skills in; design, millinery, pattern drafting and cutting as well as construction. I have a passion for designing and constructing dance costumes due to having grown up performing in theatre and later continued to dance at my dance school. As part of my dance school, I also enjoyed designing and helping make costumes for competitions and working backstage. I have spent my final year learning and developing my skills in dance stretch-wear and traditional ballet wear, along with taking an additional course on tutu making to expand my knowledge and skills. My aspirations following university are working on dance productions and ballets before eventually opening my own business in custom dance costumes.
