I'm Riddhi, an international student in graduating from BA Graphic Design. Before being an artist or designer, I'm a storyteller. I came to Nottingham after completing a three year Diploma in Fine Art in Singapore. Both courses have taught me that the most powerful tool a creative can have is conversation. My work focuses on finding little voices in things that we normally overlook, and building narratives through these voices to create a sense of community. My projects at NTU have allowed me to explore the meaning of these narratives through a problem solving lens. During my second year I created a data visualization project for 200 Degrees revolving around the insight into empty cup conversations and interactions that take place in a coffee shop. This gave me an opportunity to work with their marketing director! Through my freelancing and exhibition experience I have learned that my aim with my creative career is to keep talking and keep listening, and to build relatable narratives.
