I’m Ria! I am a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Management student who has completed a year-long sandwich placement at ME+EM in the buying department for knitwear and jersey in London. I am a creative individual who is commercially aware and passionate about working within the fashion industry. I gained experience in buying, production and visual merchandising in my placement and built upon my skills learnt at university including Adobe software, trend forecasting, conducting comp shops, market analysis and more! I am interested in sustainability and was the President of the Fashion Revolution Society during my second year of university. Throughout my time at university, I have grown in confidence, knowledge and experience and am excited to apply all I have learnt into my future career ambitions. After graduation, I am aiming to gain wider experience in the fashion industry in marketing, PR, social or buying in London so I can build my personal portfolio and widen my skillset further.
