Poe H Etherington

Young and obsessed with princess dresses and drawing, everybody understood I was a creative at heart, keeping my hands & mind busy with artwork or cosplays. Something that began as a small hobby grew into a passion, which is when I decided to pursue a BA (Hons) Costume Design and Construction course at Nottingham Trent University. Over my time at NTU, I've spent it refining construction techniques and pattern making to create interesting concepts and silhouettes for theatre audiences. I've dabbled in the art of millinery - a craft I've found passion in learning about & creating, and refined my prop work - Including leather accessories for witty and enchanting Hermes, a claw for a deceptively friendly Pierrot and a wearable clay mask that represents the objectification of women. I have big aspirations for the future, but I'd like to start out either freelancing and focusing on making, or working as part of a small theatre company.
