Informed by a deep appreciation for narrative and heritage, my design practice investigates fashion's historical and conceptual dimensions. Drawing from NTU’s Lace Archive and the gothic architecture of my Victorian home, my recent final major project reinterprets Nottingham’s lace tradition through hand-sewn pieces that balance classical influence with contemporary form. Each garment is a subtle study of craftsmanship, memory, and storytelling. With an evolving interest in the relationship between fashion, visual culture, and curatorial practice, my work seeks to bridge design with historical research and cultural discourse.
