Ellice Esi Nkrumah-Acheampong

An innovator, debater, and comedian — I’m Ellice Esi Nkrumah-Acheampong, a 21-year-old Black British illustrator studying BA (Hons) Illustration at Nottingham Trent University. My peers and family would describe me as creative, playful, curious, competitive, and a dreamer. Fortunately, I had a privileged childhood in which I grew up on cartoon shows, films, and games. My love for animation and interactive storytelling shaped the art I create today. Cartoon Network is my ultimate go-to. Living with undiagnosed ADHD brings both challenges and creative superpowers. It fuels my imagination and ability to think outside the box, though it comes with hurdles like distraction, disorganisation, and depression. Etc. My passion lies in creating indie and action games that offer players the same sense of escape, nostalgia, and excitement I’ve always found in them. Through my work, I aim to spark joy, adventure, and a little sense of control in an unpredictable world.
