I'm in my final year studying BA (Hons) Photography at Nottingham Trent University, with a practice carrying themes around sexuality and gender identity. Through photographing people in my life, I explore the intimate, dynamic relationships that have shaped my transition into adulthood. Reflecting on the ever-evolving politics surrounding those who exist outside patriarchal norms and examining the impact of these systems. My work invites conversations around identity, politics, and societal norms, inspired by artists like Nan Goldin, Tessa Boffin, and Zanele Muholi. I primarily shoot film and have developed technical skills in medium format, 5x4, and darkroom processes. I am based in both the South West and Nottinghamshire and plan to take a year after graduation to produce new work and save before pursuing an MA to further develop my practice.
