Hi, I'm Dylan, an illustrator, storyteller and designer. Drawing inspiration mostly from personal life experiences. I focus on coming-of-age and the challenges that come with growing up. I reflect these themes in my artwork through humour, surrealism and subversion. I strive to create stories and art that leave a lasting impression on readers who can hopefully relate to the subject matter I have an interest in. My most recent project has led me to exploring the stages of life and the challenges each one of us face throughout our time. ‘The Ride of a Lifetime’ combines these themes with a never-ending rollercoaster, taking the reader on a journey using playful, bright and cinematic imagery that is a combination of traditional and digital art. I love to create work and reflect on my own practice, bettering my art and stories on one project after another. I hope to continue to create work exploring my interests as well as reach a wider audience that can view and relate to my craft.
