I’m Anneka Rakhra, a BA (Hons) Graphic Design student at Nottingham Trent University, currently based in Nottingham. My practice focuses on mixed media, combining traditional techniques with digital outcomes to explore how design can be both personal and purposeful. It is grounded in research, often drawing from cultural history, art movements, environmental themes or lived experience. I aim to create work with strong personal meaning, forming a connection between myself, the subject and the audience. I enjoy packaging design, especially when it adds a playful twist to the everyday, as seen in Dentaurum, my luxury toothpaste concept that reimagines daily rituals through bold form, material and tone. After graduating, I hope to pursue creative projects that blend storytelling, sustainability and visual communication. I’m particularly interested in how design can prompt reflection, spark curiosity and make space for small but meaningful shifts in perspective.
