I'm Amy, a creative communicator with a strong interest in social media and brand strategy, based in Redditch. Through studying BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion, I’ve had the opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills and gain clarity on my direction within the industry. With a background in illustration and photography, I’ve enjoyed applying my creative strengths across a variety of social media roles over the past four years, and look forward to continuing this after university as well as aspiring to move into brand marketing roles and broadening my skill set. These experiences brought together my final self-devised project, Starlog — a concept-led exploration into how the oversaturated media landscape influences beauty brands and, in turn, affects consumer perception and engagement. The main things I will take away from my time on FCP is that the entire process is important to the final story.
