I’m a final year BA (Hons) fashion design student, I have been working tirelessly on a project that I am deeply passionate about. My project focuses on toxic beauty standards for women, and through my concept, I have tried to create something that does not cater to the beauty and fashion standards of today's society.
I believe that fashion has the power to empower women beyond the societal norms or their body types and insecurities. My project is a celebration of different bodies and aims to inspire women to embrace their unique beauty. I have used a variety of materials and techniques to create garments that are not only beautiful but also sustainable . My designs are meant to be worn by women of all shapes, and sizes, and I hope to encourage a more inclusive fashion industry.
After graduation, I hope to work with designer brands where my creativity is respected, and I get to be involved in the creative process. Eventually, I would like to start my own womenswear brand.
