I’m Katrina, a BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Branding student with a passion for fashion stemming from a textiles background. My interest in marketing arose from combining my love for textiles with an interest in psychology. My final year projects focused on self-care; investigating to what extent people incorporate self-care into their day, followed by the proposal of a business plan that would support consumer participation. Over the last 3 years I have strengthened my knowledge of graphic design, trend forecasting and market research through both individual and collaborative projects. I have enhanced my skills with the support of live briefs from brands including Boohoo and Facegym, and gained experience in social media marketing and event planning both on placement with Hot Yoga Nottingham and through extra-curricular opportunities including my role on the course Christmas Ball committee. I am a friendly and enthusiastic individual and aspire to work within the fashion industry.
