The aim of my project is to explore the craft and artistry behind creating perfectly tailored garments. I have delved deep into the history of tailoring, examining traditional techniques and as well as exploring modern innovations in technology and materials used in the industry today. For my production outcome I have recreated an Azzedine Alaia grey wool double breasted jumpsuit from 1988 to underpin the skills I have investigated throughout my project in relation to tailoring.
