This project started through my family’s love for motorbikes and in turn I discovered my love for functional clothing design. Designing and pattern cutting with a purpose, in this case the safety of a motorcyclist, changed my approach to how I worked and gave me fresh motivation for something I already loved doing. I am an ambitious and motivated pattern cutter and designer, with strengths in creative pattern cutting and functional pattern cutting. I take a hands-on and innovative approach to problem solving through 3D, experimental work and fabric manipulation as well as close attention to detail and finishing for wearability. I'm alos skilled in industrial, domestic and hand sewing techniques, with previous success in cross disciplinary collaboration, with strong communication and leadership skills.
