I am an international Fashion Management BA (hons) student, originally from India. My time on placement introduced me to the realities of garment manufacturing: the decisions, the processes, the pace of it, and I got hooked. Since then I have been working with a garment manufacturing unit, designing collections that have gone into production and been sold, all while finishing my degree. Having one foot in industry and one in academia has shaped how I think about fashion, not just creatively, but commercially and operationally. My university work has pushed that further, helping me connect the dots across the whole industry. After graduating, I aspire to work with early-stage fashion brands and help them find their footing. I am also building a software platform aimed at helping smaller factories in India compete on a bigger stage something I care about deeply.
