I am a final year BA (Hons) illustration student, specialising in children’s picture books. My practice explores themes of childhood memories and my own experiences as an immigrant, drawing on everyday emotional moments to create gentle and imaginative worlds. I often work with small animal characters and human characters, developing simple yet meaningful narratives that reflect moments of companionship, curiosity, and growth.
I work across both traditional and digital media, exploring different approaches to storytelling and image-making. In my third year, I participated in a school Christmas market and exhibited work in the Art and Design gallery, sharing my illustrations with a wider audience. I am currently developing a children’s picture book that follows the journey of small animals, exploring themes of discovery and wonder. In the future, I hope to work within children’s publishing and related creative fields, creating illustrations that evoke warmth and sense of comfort.
