Matilda Hurdis

I’m a curious, business-minded creative who grew up inside an independent, contemporary fashion retail company, an experience that shaped the way I think about brands, people, and ideas. Commuting to Nottingham to study (BA) Fashion Promotion And Communication built on this foundation, broadening my perspective, helping me to develop my creative identity. This foundation has often inspired my creative work, including my short film ‘What I Wear in the Life I’m Given’, and my publication ‘The Last Real Place’ which capture the humanity and passion that underpins small family businesses. I’m driven by human conversation, connection and am always documenting small moments. After graduating, I’m hoping to peruse a career in brand narrative and creative direction, combining my love for business identity and storytelling. I’m excited to apply my experience within a new environment, contributing to a brand whose values and vision I connect with!
