Marybeth Bettridge

I’m Marybeth Bettridge, a fashion creative specialising in photography, art direction, and print. Passionate about visual storytelling, I immerse myself in the creative process and enjoy experimental approaches in my work. With a love for photography, visual editing, and design, I communicate ideas through image-making and physical media. Studying Fashion Communication & Promotion at NTU has strengthened my understanding of cultural trends and publication design, allowing me to explore facilities that bring concepts to life. Craftsmanship and tactility play a key role in my process. Drawn to the beauty in the mundane, I enjoy uncovering complexity within simplicity and translating this into playful visuals. My final project, The Year of Arodazi, explores dissatisfaction with performative empowerment in mainstream fashion, proposing a more authentic alternative through storytelling, craft, and movement. Inspired by surroundings, trends, and culture, I’m excited to continue creating.
