Hi, my name is Katie, and I am a graphic design student from Hong Kong. I am an outgoing and sociable person who enjoys sport and staying active, while also being naturally reflective and detail-oriented. These qualities are evident in my design process, where I generate a wide range of ideas and enjoy conducting in-depth research to develop thoughtful outcomes. Much of my work draws inspiration from my culture and childhood experiences growing up in Hong Kong. I am particularly interested in creating designs rooted in storytelling and meaning, often embedding personal narratives, hidden messages, or themes of nostalgia within my projects. My strengths lie in editorial design, storybook design, and campaigns, as I find that my work is most successful when it is driven by a clear story or purpose. Looking ahead, I hope to pursue a career in digital marketing, where I can continue exploring how different aspects of design can come together to create engaging and effective experiences.
