I am a final-year BA (Hons) Digital Animation student at Nottingham Trent University, driven by a belief that animation can do more than entertain — it can protect, heal, and connect. Growing up across multiple countries and navigating difficult periods in my life, I found real comfort and safety in animated TV series that helped me move forward. That experience never left me. It led me to write my dissertation, Animation as a Therapeutic Medium: Emotional Connection, Accessibility, and Reflective Practice, exploring animation as a form of visual therapy for children worldwide who lack access to traditional support. That research continues to shape every project I take on — most recently a charity publicity film for First Steps, where I co-led the animation within a five-person team to deliver a piece with a message at its heart.
