My name is Evie Mallett (she/her), a Fashion Curation and Direction student at Nottingham Trent University. My practice spans creative direction and experiential management, with a focus on event curation and nightlife culture. I am interested in creating spaces that feel authentic, immersive, and community-led, responding to the growing commercialisation of nightlife and exploring how events can act as a form of resistance through joy, connection, and shared energy.
Recently, I conceptualised and produced a live event that prioritised presence over performance, encouraging audiences to step away from digital overload and reconnect with music and each other. I consider how elements such as visual identity, sound, and spatial flow shape the overall experience. After graduating, I aim to continue producing culturally driven events and collaborate with artists and communities to create meaningful, lasting experiences beyond the night itself.
