I am a woven textile designer with a passion for storytelling, sustainability, and multidisciplinary practice. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Peak District, where I grew up, my work explores texture, colour, and natural materials, while promoting environmental conservation. This inspiration led to my graduate collection ‘Fables in the Fields’, an eco-conscious unisex childrenswear collection that combines storytelling, adventure and sustainability. My designs embrace colour, playfulness, and natural materials across weave and knit. Within my practise, I have developed both woven and digital design skills, creating diverse outcomes driven by material exploration, colour, and sustainable innovation. Through industry live briefs and competitions, I received a two-week placement at NEXT and secured second place in the Paul Vogel live brief. These experiences have provided invaluable industry insight and emphasised my ambition to work within the textile industry.
