My name is Ellie Fitch, and I am a 22-year-old student studying Fashion Management. Originally, I grew up in a small village called Banks, located in West Lancashire. My course has enabled me to be able to combine academic learning with hands-on project experience, learning about consumer insights, sustainable practices and brand development. I am particularly passionate about the performance and purpose of fashion, especially in my final year. My work has explored different designs and materials that can inspire female runners. Looking ahead, I aim to build my career as a buyer or within the supply chain for a leading sportswear retailer, either for trainers or general sports apparel, with the long-term ambition of developing my own female-focused running brand.
