My name is Ben Hornby, and I am a final year BA Fashion Management student. I chose this course because I'm interested in both creativity and the business side of the fashion industry. This course allows me to explore how the fashion industry operates beyond just the design of the products, including marketing, operations, branding, and sustainability. While I've been on this course, I've enjoyed group work and presentations as it pushes us out of our comfort zone and allow us to communicate with different people. My favourite group project was Notts reimagined, where we had to present how we wanted to create a pop-up between two brands within Nottingham, where we presented to our peers and industry professionals. My main goal after university is to go see the world and travel.
