Annabelle McKinlay

As a final year BA (Hons) Fashion Management student, I have been able to combine my creativity with strong commercial awareness, strengthening my knowledge in global sourcing, sustainability, buying and merchandising. Through live projects, I presented my critical range analysis and budget allocation for S/S24 at Lounge headquarters and collaborated with visual merchandisers at John Lewis to create a window display in Nottingham, featuring my trend-forecasted range plan. These experiences greatly strengthened my communication and analytical skills, preparing me for a placement year at White Stuff as a Buying Admin Assistant on the Womenswear department, managing the critical path for key categories across three seasons, demonstrating efficient sample management and weekly supplier communication. My experiences demonstrate my adaptability and eagerness to apply my creativity, strong work ethic, and fashion management expertise to a successful career in buying.
