Vi Linh

I’m Vi Linh, a graphic designer and art practitioner from Vietnam, specialising in publication design, branding, and fine art. My practice explores how editorial design and typography can shift meaning and communicate visually with a multidisciplinary approach rooted in a traditional art family. Previous works include designing and writing Ngoc Linh: Art of Spring, an art book celebrating my grandfather’s legacy, and Hanoi My Love, an art book set showcasing his oil paintings on lottery tickets. Alongside publication work, I’ve developed visual identities and packaging designs for cultural and commercial projects. My fine art practice draws from oriental aesthetics, especially traditional Vietnamese and Chinese painting techniques. I aim to use art and design as a versatile device for emotional and thought-provoking engagement, working through both practice-led research and research-led practice.
