Tamilore Sonola

I am Tamilore Sonola, a final-year BA (Hons) Graphic Design student. Born and raised in Hertfordshire with Nigerian heritage, my work draws from cultural identity and personal experience to shape meaningful visual narratives. My practice explores the power of digital illustration, storytelling, and Graphic Design to communicate ideas and emotions. I’m interested in how design can challenge perspectives, build connections, and amplify underrepresented voices. In recent projects, I’ve focused on visual storytelling to explore identity and challenging social themes, experimenting with bold digital visuals and layered compositions to engage viewers. After completing my degree, I hope to work in the creative industry, ideally in a studio as a graphic designer where I can apply my illustration skills. I also aim to build a personal brand that allows me to take on freelance projects, collaborate with other creatives, and keep developing my visual voice.
