As an artist, I see myself as a collector—a hoarder of the overlooked, the mundane, the odd. I'm drawn to dismissed themes, creating work that reflects how I see the world: full of beauty in unexpected places. My process is chaotic and rooted in experimentation. I never start with a fixed outcome in mind, letting materials, thoughts, and moments guide me. I create to heal. Through making, I confront fears and begin to accept flaws—not just in me, but in everything around me. There’s a sense of serendipity in how I create and live—trusting in the unexpected, finding meaning in what’s unplanned. If my work can help others feel seen, comforted, or a little more accepting of themselves and the world, then I know I’m creating with purpose.
