I am a Final year BA (hons) fashion Communication and Promotion student. My main interests throughout my work are based around photography specifically fashion or sports photography. My submission explores fashion photography as a space to tell stories that are humorous, emotional, and human. Each shoot is designed to challenge traditional fashion imagery by placing high-concept styling into unexpected, often mundane, or emotionally raw environments. Through this, I aim to highlight contrasts between glamour and reality, artifice and authenticity and allow the viewer to reimagine the context in which fashion exists. After graduating I hope to work to save money for travelling whilst working towards internships and placements to further my career after travelling. I also hope to pursue my passion for photography, possibly setting up a side business as a photographer for small events and/or private photography sessions.
