I am a final year BA (Hons) Costume Design and Construction student at Nottingham Trent University. Throughout the duration of my time at NTU, I explored different genres of making, including designing for stage and screen. I particularly enjoyed my element 1 project Visionary, where I designed 10 costumes for the band ‘Slipknot’ and constructed one them. I was inspired by the creatives who made the masks for my favourite band ‘Sleep Token’. I aspire to work with similar bands in the future and hope to get the opportunity to travel for my work. Another aspect I really enjoyed in my 3 years of university was a historical costume I had the privilege to create for the high sheriff of Bedfordshire, where, with a team, I helped to construct a velvet coat and trousers. I am always on the look out for opportunities to work with bands and hope I get to work with some in the future.
