Hello! My name is Kiyana, and I'm sometimes a Textile Designer, sometimes a Stylist, sometimes an Art Director—and always a festival fanatic. Throughout my time on the Fashion Communication and Promotion course, I've been able to pinpoint exactly where my strengths and passions lie. I've been consistently challenged in my assignments and applying my sharpened skillset to external creative projects and collaborations. My interests in live music, social behaviour, subcultures and fashion anthropology fuel my excitement for opportunities in brand activation, culture marketing, and festival operations. In particular, my dissertation project, ROOTS, reflected my curiosity surrounding the ever-increasing ambiguity of fashion within the festival industry, and its impact on attendees' ability to stay present at these events. I look forward to the expansion of my work beyond NTU, continuing to create with a multidisciplinary approach.
