Through my projects 100 Pennies, Flowers from the Living, and Parasite, I explore a variety of themes including the ordinary, painful, and hidden — using design to reconsider everyday objects through thought-provoking storytelling. I view design as a tool to create new perspectives and uncover what is hidden. I am most confident in digital design, photography and illustration but very much enjoy the process of playing with physical materials. In every project I aim to provoke curiosity, compassion, and conversation but most importantly, have fun with the process of creation. I believe design is essential in creating community and change in the world by making knowledge accessible and visually sharing experiences no matter how difficult. What we ignore often defines us.
