I am a print designer with a passion for illustrative and detailed design. Within the collection When the Clock Strikes Thirteen, I have been inspired by the Gothic Revival Movement, and the botanical illustrators of that time. I have also been influenced by the design ethics of the Arts and Crafts Movement, as I create all my designs, using acrylic, fine liner and watercolour, whilst practising slow making within my processes. My core inspiration has been the novel Tom’s Midnight Garden by Philippa Pearce, and through visits to National Trust properties, I have been able to capture the bucolic descriptions of the Victorian garden. I have a deep interest in historical and heritage design, and combined with digital skills, my collection encapsulates my personal design style - painstakingly hand illustrated, timeless interiors and fashion prints. At university, I have honed my design and creative skills, as well as winning a two-week placement at Ashley Wilde Interiors.
