My name is Laura, I study Textile Design and specialise in embroidery. I am creative and dedicated with a passion for detailed embroidery and specific interest in printed textiles. My work mainly consists of intricate hand embroidery and beading embellishment combined with fabric manipulation and multi head embroidery. I am inspired by high end designers such as Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen and Elie Saab. Outside of my degree I am a sociable person. I am a committed team player and enjoy sports such as cheerleading, dance and netball. After graduation I hope to travel to capture insight into embroidery techniques and processes in different cultures. My goal is to gain experience and skills in the couture fashion and high-end design sector.
