LOVE-STRUCK is a S/S22 womenswear streetwear collection that is driven by body positivity and made to empower women. With the vast evolution of technology in contemporary culture, the impact of consuming fake beauty is paramount to the negativity surrounding body image. Katie has taken inspiration from her own experiences with body image and wants to celebrate the female body form as well as highlighting that all bodies are equal. LOVE-STRUCK is a collection that strives to make women feel confident and powerful. Katie specialised in print during her first year of university. She has a strong passion for abstract design and loves to throw her energy into the print workshops to create eye-catching designs and to ultimately have fun! Katie has found her final year project to be incredibly valuable and inspiring and she can’t wait to continue pursuing her passions within her design work.
