I am a student pursuing a MA in Fashion Design. My undergraduate major was in Finance, but studying Fashion Design has always been my dream. I hope to express my attitudes and life experiences through garments. My research and practice aim to promote the emotional durability of garments and the sustainability of Chinese culture by combining contemporary Chinese culture with handmade craftsmanship. My work 'Nostalgia' is inspired by my fond memories of some of China's declining classic cultures. Using handmade crochet and knitting methods, I hope to inject new soul into China's most classic "Spring Festival" culture. After graduation, I hope to further explore fashion styling and communication.
